Toronto

1. Culture Vultures

The diverse population of Toronto reflects its current and historical role as an important destination for immigrants to Canada.  More than 50 percent of residents belong to a visible minority population group, and over 200 distinct ethnic origins are represented among its inhabitants.  As we travel to this town, feel the energy in the city as autumn quickens the pace.

2. Shopoholics

Toronto has emerged as a major style destination. Stores abound with luxury designer items, unique vintage finds and top home décor, and high fashion can be found around every corner.  Toronto’s King Street is aptly named. Once populated primarily by warehouses and industrial buildings, today its multitude of fashion retailers, high-end lifestyle shops, and trendy restaurants, are truly fit for a king.

3. Greenspace

Toronto's Park People believe that their city is on the cusp of a park renaissance, and thus they aim to facilitate greater neighborhood engagement in local parks. While developing a network of local community park groups, Park People seeks to foster awareness of the social, health, economic, and environmental benefits that local green spaces have on our communities.
